Florence Brabant – Founder & Vintage Jewellery Specialist​

 

Florence’s passion for high-end vintage jewellery began with her studies in fashion and luxury management, where her dissertation focused on the valuation of fine jewellery and gemstones. This foundation, combined with global experiences from Nairobi to Geneva to New York, led her to work with prestigious family businesses, deepening her expertise in antique and vintage jewellery, gemstones, and natural pearls. Additionally, she obtained a degree as an Applied Jewelry Professional and Diamond Grader at the renowned Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

 

After nearly three years at Cartier building experience in retail, Florence launched her own business, offering a curated collection that celebrates the iconic elegance of eras like Art Deco and the bold designs of the 1940s. She sources exceptional gemstones &  jewellery pieces and collaborates with skilled artisans to create bespoke pieces while also reviving older jewellery into something fresh and unique.

 

What drives Florence and fuels her excitement is the thrill of helping clients find truly unique pieces. These jewels, crafted by artisans across different periods, have a history—some over a hundred years old—and remain more exclusive and interesting than much of today’s luxury offerings. In a commercial world where exclusivity has faded, vintage jewellery opens up a realm of rare, one-of-a-kind treasures. Florence also appreciates how artisans of the past worked during times of great change, discovering new materials like platinum in the 1900s, which allowed for more delicate designs, or experimenting with new diamond-cutting techniques in the 1920s, creating a world of design possibilities.

 

Her true joy comes from how wearable these vintage pieces are in everyday life. Florence loves how a sparkly diamond or vintage treasure pairs effortlessly with jeans and a white shirt, striking a perfect balance between casual chic and timeless elegance. When changing into a little dress and heels, that same piece transforms into something glamorous yet still wearable. This versatility, combined with her background in fashion management, allows her to blend today’s fashion trends with vintage jewellery, creating distinctive, personal looks for clients.
